Icon COs and rear resis, Deaver leafs. ARB locker in rear. ARB front bumper...Pissed at Gadget for abandoning the Rotrex 3.4 supercharger.
This was my daily driver till last fall. 2001 PreRunner with factory leather seats. 259K miles and the motor will not hold compression. The truck has an iPod adapter to the stock head unit, two RF 8 inch subs, Lanzar 150 amp bridged 2 ohm mono, rear frame welded reinforcement plates, ARB front bumper, Deaver rear springs, ARB rear locker with air compressor, ICON front coil overs, and ICON rear shocks with resis and Yakima roof setup.

What would you guys do with this truck? I was quoted 3K for a replacement by a LKQ guy that wanted to put in a 100K 3.4. I really don't want to part out the truck and be left with a pile of leftovers. Is there a market for a truck like this as is?

I didn't list it in the Market / Sale area because I'm looking for opinions at this point. Thanks guys.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
You really need to find a motor and drive that truck for the next 10-15 years.

You can sell me your bumper to raise funds... I would just find another motor man.. Its an awesome truck and seems to be set up pretty well. Or rebuild the motor.

Car-part.com has a listing of junkyards within your area. Fill in the info and you should be able to find a engine fairly cheap. The site tells the mileage/conditon etc.

3.4 motors can be had for $800-1000 all day. low mileage.

but personally, I wouldn't bother. something else is bound to break. Someone will pay $5k for it as is no problem.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
seems like a great truck and a perfect candidate for a new (used) 3.4 or even a diesel from something else.

i would sell the bumpers, put it back to stock and see what i could get for it... if it was 4x4 i would definitely put a new/used motor in it...

You have done so much with mods that it would be a crime to not go used market for engine. Maybe a rebuilt for 1500. I've seen them around often Being 2wd you don't have the same market value in my opinion..

No frame rust, clean body, I'd buy a new engine for it and drive it another 250k
