I've done Mary Ellen but those photos of Forest Lake wig me out.

You can kind of go around but I found its sketchier to go around then just go through, it's not too bad you just kind of drive on two tires

Sounds fun. Need to do the squeaky leaf fix or ill go nuts

 

I feel ya ^^ the squeak that is. Pretty sure I have an air bubble and water in my brake lines. Annoying as hell.

 

Sadly I won't make the meet on the 22nd. I'll be stuck at work. Few more weeks and this stupid project will be done.

 

You know you do have a fancy bleeder that we can fix that issue ya know

The 1000 is in November and I should be there for that. The Baja 500 is the one that's just happened. Didn't got for that.

 

Oh ok got yaz I can never remember when it is. Are you on a chase team for it?

 

Lets get a list of names going of people going to the meet and greet. Whos attending?

I am at least for the meet and greet idk if the truck will be ready to hit the trails.

 

Planning on it, although getting me to unequivocally commit to something more than a couple of days in advance is like pulling teeth.

 

Baring some unforeseen issue, I'm planing on the meet and the run.

 

Yeah. I don't do every race with them, but as often as I can. It's with Canguro Racing. They've been racing a Class 5 car and placed 3rd in the Sportsman Class at the Baja 1000. They currently have their car up for sale if you know anyone looking for a killer Class 5. They are shopping for new trucks and are likely moving into a Toyota, either Tacoma/Tundra or 100 Series Land Cruiser.

Here's the Class 5 car that's for sale.




This is one of the trucks they are considering buying/racing. This is the truck that Toyota/Lexus backed and was driven by Joe Bacal. Toyota reduced some of their budget for motorsports and the Offroad racing was one of the areas that got affected so that's why this truck is for sale.

 

Geez that thing looks beasty. I like LC though racing a different class but would still be sweet. Where is Canguro racing out of?

 

I'm so freakin' proud of myself! (You need to understand that I'm not exactly a tinkerer.) Everything but the radio arrived today (the radio arrives Friday or Saturday...damned Fry's Electronics, I should've bought the radio with the rest of the stuff for a measly $6 more). In around an hour I managed to get the antenna coax fished through the firewall, behind the dash and to the point where it'll connect to the radio, as well as install the antenna.





More to follow once I get the radio installed this weekend. smkd13, I think I've got this one covered - I even bought an SWF meter. Hopefully I'll have two-way communications running in time for Sunday's meet-up at Cabela's/AF Canyon.

Now excuse me while I go download a copy of Smokey And The Bandit...
