it was in the paper... a lot of the pro surfers are jumping on this band waggon. sounds like a really good idea if you really read into it.

KM2's or MTR's? Thoughts? My next set of tires

 

yeah...i'd imagine there would need to be a vehicle inspection to use it "for-hire" along with registration.

 

both are awesome
both are heavy as shit

from my experience with both

KM2's are better in mud (MT/R's aren't techically a "mud" tire)
MT/RK's are better on-road, as far as wet grip, but are louder
both are great on the rocks

 

Ordered them at truckfest. Cant say who i actually picked them up from or my truck will be blown up.

U can join my club KM'2 got 30,000 miles on them and still got decent tire thread left. 285/75/16

 

After Cody's report I'm swaying more towards the MTR's in a 305/70/17" Probably after X-Mas though My wheels and tires are still new and need some mileage on them..

 

I'd rather have the MTRs
KM2s are pretty loud on the freeway. MTRs will be my next tire too.

I've been debating my next set too...miles club, luka's club w/Toyo's and Pro Comp MT2's. No club yet.

 

thats actually the cool part.... its all free... so technically its a hitchhiking system thats based off of tips. you can chose to pay or not and you rate the driver as well. if u get a creepy dude driving u and u felt uncomfortable then u dont have to pay and u can rate him bad. and he can also rate u back so its based on the honor system. u just gotta have a smart phone and it works off of something like google maps with people on the map with little ratings.

 

I've been thinking about those as well.

while I do like my Toyo's, I have an itch to go a little bigger.
