easy add on features ?

I was talking to the dealer about the backup camera i noticed on my truck even though i have just a standard mirror and he said i could get the mirror with the screen in it and i could use it since it was almost all wired. are there any other features similar to this?

 

You don't say what truck you have. I have a SR5. Wondering if this would apply to me?

Lots of things come like that. Many companies run fog light wiring, power accessory wiring, etc etc in every car they make and then just don't put in the switches and terminal connections for the system.

So for the low low price of umpteen hundred dollars they can upgrade you easily and it means one less "specialty step" in the assembly.

 

sorry i just purchased my truck, its a 2009 single cab 4x4 with sr5 package

 

You don't have the wiring for your truck. Only 2009 Tacoma's come prewired for a camera.

 

but they do it on the 2009s ?
