I always camp in the texas creek area. Pretty much turn right at the stop sign at the end of cottonwood pass, about 1 mile you'll see signs for texas creek.

That area is mostly for atv/utv's so it might be too tame for you but there is a really good single track trail if you go up to the lake (texas lake?) it is just past the bridge and goes up around the lake and trail 414 is another good one which is in that area too. You will be able to ride anywhere too even without a license plate, like tin cup pass, tomichi pass, pearl pass, ect..

I'd buy a map at the taylor park store which sells fuel too and go from there there is a ton of trails there but I think It might be early for some of the stuff near timberline.

Tame is ok for us. I may hit the single track one day... I have a Nat Geo map that shows some trails. I will mark those down though. Thanks

Anyone else have a squeak problems with the light racing ucas? I followed the instructions to a "T" and am about to take apart again to regrease the sleeves, already regreased the outter edges along the washers last week and didnt help. Any tips? Seems like half the people have noise issues and half dont.

I ordered a couple different kits from different manufacturers and the gates kit seemed far nicer in quality and was actually one of the cheaper kits since I got it on sale from rock auto.

Is the bolt holding the arm onto the truck over-torqued? Tightening it down too much my be causing the poly to bind a bit. Lube should help that though.

Torqued to spec, I made sure both times I loosened it I was careful to to crank pass my torque wrench "snap". Hopefully a good lathering of grease in the sleeve fixes it, the noise it gettn worse even driving around town.

I suppose its a educated guess, didnt squeak before I put them on and when I bounce on the front I can hear it. But then again I'm not down their pin pointing it. It did get slightly better on my last half bum attempt to grease the outer edges, went wheeling again and noise came back.

When I got mine they were lubed from the factory. I added a bit more to those washers you put on the outer ends before installing the bolts. I have zero noise in the 2 years I have had mine on.

Anything less than the double whammy that includes a reckless driving ticket too would be my guess.

Not sure how fast that is in CO but in Michigan if I recall correctly if someone got written up for speeding 18 mph over or higher they could get slammed with a reckless driving ticket in addition to the speeding ticket. The only reason I remember that is because my one and only speeding ticket was for 17 over when I was 17 years old and one of my friends mentioned I was lucky to not be nailed with both so I looked it up a bit more.

Just looked it up, Colorado is 25mph over for reckless based on speed. Yee-haw in the West :D! So I'd guess anything less then that doesn't need to appear.

Are yours the two piece bushings? You push in from both sides to make one bushing, so four pieces per arm?

    Some stuff here and there....
Hey guys. Quick question for you all. I have a wheeling trip planned in August for 9 days around telluride and alpine loop area. What are the fire restrictions like right now? As in camp fires. And second whats the gun laws like? I usually have my shotgun and rifle with me in my truck which both should be fine but im more wondering about my hand gun if I need to buy a smaller mag. I have been reading all kinds of different stuff online about sheriffs and police not informing the new law changes and suing the state to change the laws back. Thanks for the help gents!
