I just purchased the rail system cargo divider for my 09. I hated to spend the $250 shipped, but it was better than $300 +tax from the dealer!

This is where I got it from: http://www.tacomapartsstore.com/pro...d=753&osCsid=0007827cc52d9e4d022cc62a17ede6fb

I hope it comes in this week. Anyone ever dealt with tacomapartsstore.com?

Also, I would love to hear from anyone that has this cargo divider about how sturdy and durable it is.

    Thanks!

I just bought one. Got it from JC Whitney. Love the part, hate JC Whitney's service. They sent me some off the wall part at first then took 3 weeks to get me the right part. Won't ever buy from them again.

I didn't get the fancy kind like you did. Mine is just an adjustable bar, but it works great. Cost $20+.

i have the toyota oem cargo divider. its very sturdy and durable. everyone once in a while you might need to tighten it.

one comment though if you have an undercover, it is relatively low profile, but the top just touches the bottom of my undercover. and you can't put it too close to the tailgate because it interferes with the undercover struts when closing.

I just ordered the OEM on ebay from a Toyota dealer. It was cheaper than my local dealer. Was 220 plus like 15 bucks shipping or so.

Another idea, if you don't want to spend all that money, is to pick up a couple cargo bars. I got two of these from Harbor Freight - They're cheap and do the trick. Had a couple coupons so only cost me about $25 total.

Just got the Toyota cargo divider. It is much nicer than other similar product I have seen. It was double the price but it is no comparison is quality. This sucker is sweet.

Little tip when you go to install. You will need to slid threaded plates into the rails. One way they will fit perfectly into the notched out slots of the rails. They are a hair larger if you put them in the other way. Just put one in and slid it to the notch. If it doesn't fit perfectly turn it 90 degrees and then try that. You will see what I mean.

I am looking for one also, but don't want to spend $250 on the Toyota one. Was going to make one out of plywood. With the cover on the bed, no one would see it...Can you post a link of the item you bought? $20 is a good deal. :)

I got it installed and it is a lot more durable than I thought it would be. I expect it will last as long as the truck and shouldn't have any problems holding even heavy cargo in place. I was thinking of making my own and going with the "cheaper" solutions, but now that I have it I'm glad I ponied up the dough and got it!

thanks for the pics jtav2002! The way it mounts to the rails hold it in real good. The only thing that worries me is that is is made to be taken out easily by hand, which means if someone wanted it in the mall parking lot they could take the divider in about 10 seconds and the rail mounts in < 30 sec. if you didn't have a tailgate lock.

I didn't want anything fancy since my hard tonneau was going to hide it anyways. I paid 8 bucks CDN for some 2X4's from Home Depot and made my own dividers to stop my tool and parts boxes from sliding around.

If you're interested, I can post some pics and measurements.

Yea they could have that out pretty fast if they wanted it. I have a tonneau on the way so hopefully that will save it.

Yes if you could post some pics and measurements, just spend $1000 this month on the truck, think if I spend any more the wife will get a little ticked. :D

I can take some pics this weekend. I had to ditch the wife. I couldn't afford her, a new truck and all the new stuff for the truck at the same time. Maybe yours is better looking.
