tabs are for attaching the bottom of the flares or the inner fender liner, IIRC.

Also it's two 1.5" body lifts stacked on top if eachother

His build thread is 90% people telling him he's endangering himself and those around him, and 10% blowing money on stuff that endangers himself and others

yeah...running a 3" BL on top of a 6" DB lift is asking for trouble...wheeling or not.

there's a thread on here where a guy's 3" BL punched through the floor of his 1st gen. he bought it w/ the BL, so not completely his fault i suppose.

Some tubbing would have to be done and serious firewall modification for 37s

i think all lurry did to run 36-37s was 3" suspension, 1" BL, CMC, and sledge-o-matic the shit out of the firewall.

there is another guy running 37s w/ a front LT and fiberglass. not sure of the other mods on that one.

Exactly. But in reality you don't need them. New plastic tabs holds the flares really tight. I have the tabs there but they aren't in use because I don't have a way to attach the flare to the tab yet.

werent the ones reattaching to the flare to the tabs cutting/grafting the flare in 2 pieces and reattaching? at that point the flare would reutilize the stock mounting again.

Possibly. I did it for the ability to attach a stock flare back to it if needed. If you're never going back and you're not cutting half your flare in two then it's not really needed. The only thing I gotta figure out is how to cover up my intake a little. Prolly gonna hack up the old wheel well liner to work I. There and these tabs will be good for holding it in
