    I have a 2007 tacoma prerunner doublecab and I'm wanting a toolbox.wanting to buy one locally(tractor supply,lowes,sears,homedepot) Would appreciate any information from anyone who has purchased from one of these stores(model numbers and prices) Thanks,

    Black Friday every year the past two years Lowes has a sale on these for $99. I painted mine black.

    NP. It's an OK box but if your going to keep 200# of tools in it and hit the trails hard the welds could crack. I reinforced mine with some simple bar stock I cut and installed under the bolts and it's all good now.

    For $99 you can't beat it. For the listed price of $159 I would shop around.

    Bone f’n stock for now
    I just got the same box for 75.00 otd (it had a dent in the back) Got home popped the dent out easy and got it mounted. Skip how did you paint yours. I mean what did you use? Sand it at all. And where did you put the flat stock?
