The homogenized term would be "intuition".... but the real term would be "Remote viewing". Something the FBI & CIA still use IIRC

That & "Deja~vue" situations most everyone has had at least once, but yeah some people are def more suceptable to these notions & those who have recognized it in themselves & devote time educating themselves about their "gift" they learn how to control it & focus I'd think, these are the people Law Enforcement seek, they just dont talk about it much..

I have deja vue a good bit, don't like it.. I've had dreams about things that end up happening later. Quite a few out of the ordinary things have happened to me thru the years.

I dated a girl in HS, her dad and brother were into ESP, she talked about how she had seen them move candles across the room without touching them etc. She wasn't the crazy type either, had her head on her shoulders... Nice boobs too. A looker she was.

That Shuttle video, as far as who was filming etc. What about the space station or camera from a satelite maybe??
Just guessing, that seems possible and the most likely to me at least.

I get deja vu a lot. It's usually very specific situations where I feel like I've done this exact same thing, but not necessarily with the same people.

Then I ask my wife, "Have we been here and done this before?" and she looks at me like i'm crazy.

Some people are more prone to organized religion, too :)

And the realistic term would be "coincidence"

It's so common, name one person who hasn't felt it. It is a trip though, and whenever I experience it I like to maximize the whole thing and see how long I can get it to last.

    Whoa, son. Take your Ritalin.

LOL I guess. I'm just too scientific-minded. I'm a skeptic of everything unless I experience it myself or see hard data.

And I've truly experienced some odd shit. No UFOs, no mental powers, etc. but I have openly claimed to have seen the exact same ghost in my house growing up. It woke me twice out of a dead sleep and rushed at me, then either went under my bed's headboard or under my nightstand by my closet. Scariest fucking thing in the world to be woken up from a dead sleep to see an apparition up in the top corner of my bedroom just rush at me like that. I was 15 when it happened.

After the second time it happened, I earned one of those odd grey patches of hair on your head that some people get after you experience something traumatic. It's a round patch of hair on the back of my head offset to one side, about 2" in diameter.

I've been shot at twice in a non-combat situation, held up at goinpoint, stalked by a bear, and walked away from a head-on collision... and none of those turned my hair grey.

Curious what your take is on those crazy things that happened to you were, specifically the apparition in your room.. Since you have the skeptic/scientific way of looking at things.
What do you think it was?
Btw the grey hair thing after is strange and kinda creepy. Sounds like you attract some crazy stuff.

Yes sir. Held up at a store I worked at in downtown Phoenix when I was 18. One shooting scenario was a chase with over 60 shots fired at me from 4 guns in one chase car in Scottsdale. Not a single bullet hit my car, and they wrecked head-on into a parked car during the chase. The other was a shot fired after my g/f was driving and she wasn't going fast enough for some hothead behind us. He pulled up beside us and pulled out his Glock and fired it up in the air over us, then pointed it directly at me on the passenger side. I was nuts back then and pointed to my open mouth when he had it aimed at me, and he sped off.

Cops ended up catching all perps in all 3 scenarios.

You know, it has been a struggle trying to figure it out. My logical mind wants to blame it on dreams, but I've had some interesting conversations with some weird folks about things like out of body experiences when the body sleeps, and of course ghosts.

I've had wild dreams before, but to have 2 such similar events within a couple months of each other wake me up so fast and so hard, it's tough to put logic to it.

I can totally appreciate the logical/analytical thinking in rationalizing/encapsulating mindset to make sense of things , I'm the same way, but as I found out myself at what point does one run out of "logical explanations" for events that defy logical thinking, I just fall into the acceptance of some things with the "It is what it is.". Just like early in this thread I've spoke of some events & the hardest one I think to accept or explain was passing the same car with the same driver twice on the same stretch of road..with no stopping or getting off highway on my part, I've given up rationalizing that one ..
