They're what I used for my hood lights and bed lights.

    Look at build!
Anyone have any stock 01-04 taillights? Found mine broken in a parking lot by some jackleg.. or maybe it was light poles, those parking lots can get pretty flexy sometimes and contort that solid axle all on its side and what not.. Ive never wheeled so hard, may need a few pairs so I can have some spares

I'd just weld kick-ups/hoops to the rear bumper to protect the lights.

I've got a set off my truck that are nightshaded. I know they aren't 01-04 style but they should still work

They won't without some modifications (I don't recall the extent of modification/method used). '01-'04 tacos have different wiring, I learned the hard way.

Seems like a lot of work just to swap to a different set of stock taillights.

been busy getting ready for the trip out west. got my sliders welded, new tail gate with relentless reinforcement, and put some Icons on tonight.

The icons had about 1.5" of preload, I might crank them up to 2" just to level it out for now.

Still need to finish the rear seat platform I have been working on to mount the fridge.

About a week left before I leave, first stop is the badlands national park.

Yes take everything off. There are a couple rubber and metal pieces you'll want I take off as well. Be sure to turn the oven off after it gets to the right temp. I think I had it at 250, put the light in and turned the oven off. About 7 minutes I think worked for me.

Keep an eye on it too just in case. A buddy of mine melted his lens pretty bad but I think he had it too close to the top.

pulled my washer tank to find the leak. turns out to just be a hose at the pump. Now, do I replace the hose and put it back in or do I go ahead and build a new tank out of PVC? Nothing wrong with the current one and I am still runner stock bump. But I haven't built anything in a while for my truck and this seems like a cheap mod.

I say go for it, looks to be a neat, clean mod and holds more than a cheap radiator reservoir that I'm using.

Plus if you're ever stranded in the desert, you can pull it, empty it, fill it with pee and go home Bear Grylls style.
