Whats up guys, would anyone be down to have a meet in the next couple weeks at the Brown Mountain OHV trails or Richland Road trails or anywhere else? I've never been to either as I just got my truck back in Feb and last Taco was a Prerunner. I don't have any armor on my truck but I am in the process of designing/building some of my own.

Btw, I'm located in the Kings Mountain/Gastonia area.

Let me know if anyone is interested and maybe we'll make a thread or something with details. Thanks.

I live near Richlands. Is your truck lifted? There are a couple places where you might scrape but once you get past the first rock its not too bad. Takes about three hours including the long gravel road out of there.

I hear ya man, I'm thinking about getting my girl and heading up there after I get off work at about 12 tomorrow. How long does it usually takes to go through? Also any sketchy/rough places? I'd like to t into the offroading more but I also want to keep my ride clean .

You can run the main trail (1) loop in probably an hour to an hour and a half depending on traffic and how fast or slow you want to go. Friday at noon should be pretty dead. Not really anything too sketchy or rough for a 4x4 to get into at Brown. The toughest spot would probably be the very top of 1, which is only slick when it's wet, so you should be good as dry as it's been. It's looking like I may postpone my ride until tomorrow, so if you decide to go I'll probably be there around 1:00 or 2:00.

Good deal, hopefully I'll be there around the same time as well. I drive a 2009 Super White DCSB if you see one.
