Here's some irony for you ToolFan, After I hit reply, I received a call from our dispatch and spoke with a detective who had one of the offenders I supervise in custody with two SKS rifles after being stopped for a traffic violation. So I issued a parole warrant and he will be going back through that revolving door rather than shooting someone. (Probably just needed to be hired by you and he would have been fine.) But don't mind me, I'll just go back to sucking that tit.

    Now I'm done.

Wanted to give props to ToolFan66 for reaching out. We had a good discussion via PM and some good came from it. Sorry about the thread derailment. Sincerely hope the OP finds his truck. If there are any decent images of the thieves, forward them to the local P&P office. We've caught plenty of people that way.

Ya, apparently due to the diff traction modes (sand / snow etc)...I just stuck with the Tundy and picked up the crewmax instead ....I also wasn't sure I wanted to go back to a v6 4.0

They are actually still writing music. Don't hold your breath for this year. Saw Doug Webb all-stars at the Baked Potato and asked Danny. But next year is a possibility. Although they are WAY behind their usual 5 year spread.

Good luck finding your truck OP. Sorry to change the subject but it's TOOL after all.

I would rather it had not been stolen, but Man... I think that is a really great payout. Which makes it a little easier to take. Still sucks to think of some scumbag tearing my truck apart or worse driving it in mexico.

I always though you would lift the trail if it wasn't equipped with kdss, but don't take my word for it.

Go to truecar.com and get a price. Thats what I did. I paid 32955 out the door. Base price was 31,041, dealer doc fee was 449 so add that to the price 31,490 was the real price less taxes.
    Msrp was 34250

we did do that but it was a $700 difference and that's all that they would budge. did you finance or have a big down payment?

Am I the only one who doesn't want their truck back after it's been molested by some scumbag? If mine is ever stolen, I hope they strip the parts, burn it, or ship it to Mexico. I would sleep better replacing it with another one.

You don't know how bad it was driven in rage or anger, neutral bombs, if manual, shifted poorly or without the clutch, 4WD driven on a dry street (for the F#@$ of it) Hitting & running over anything in sight. No thanks, keep it and move on.
