    Looks great Phil!

Thanks man! It is a Kolbolt that fits between the wheel wells. They have since discontinued it.

Part one of project "Rearend Revamp" has arrived.

Total Chaos bolt on air bump mounts. They will go very nicely with the Fox Air Bumps I have. uploadfromtaptalk1403140016756.jpg

So I just thought of something...you have a shackle flip. Which means you'll be pretty wicked negative arch if you use those bump mounts and slide the bump all the way up into the bump cans.

OK. I was wondering about that. I am thinking of now leaving them stiffer and setting them at 3.5, maybe even 4" depending on the lift I get from the new springs. I do have longer springs on the way to help the shackle work correctly and have the springs flatten out nicely.

Doesn't matter how much PSI you put in the bump stop...it's not going to stop the weight of the truck from bottoming out the bump. They are intended to slow down the last few inches of travel.

Your best bet is to cycle the leaf pack or at a minimum use the string method to determine flat arch on your leaf pack and move your bump stops down the can and pinch them at flat or slightly negative arch.

Just saying...4" of bump is a LOT of bump zone. That's like 1/3 of your total travel.

And congrats on the full ownership!

What is this method? I have actually been wondering about where I should put my bump stops. I have Wheeler's Superbumps in the rear, but I shimmed them up when my U-bolts were too long (got the flip kit before the Expo's but didn't wanna cut the bolts if I was upgrading leaf packs in the near future) but I didn't remove the shims when I got the Expo's. I'm a little curious if I should remove them so I have more travel or keep them there?

OK perfect! That was another question I was thinking in my head but wasn't certain how to phrase it.

Your vast expanse of knowledge is much appreciated. Cycling the suspension was on the list to see if the shocks will work or not. Now I know where to set the bump and then I take it I can put it at 80PSI and 2.5"s right?
