I would too at this point. Im headed to some nearby mountains on Sunday for some trail running/hiking/taking selfies/eating burgers afterwards.

Upped my deadlift game today. 155lbs. I havent been doing them very long and I want to make sure I keep good form so Im always skeptical about going up in weight

What kind of reps are you doing? 155 is pretty light.

1/4 mile and 1/2 mile sprints. So either one or two laps around a standard track, with a designated rest time between. For example, the goal on the 800m repeats was to keep the 6 minute mile pace. So we'd run two laps making sure to keep the pace at 1:30 per lap. If we were fast after lap one, we'd back it down a bit. Slow after first lap, we'd turn it up a bit. After awhile you kind of learn what a 6 minute mile pace feels like, and thats the goal. So when time comes to run it, you go to that pace.

So we would sprint two laps, lightly jog one lap, immediately sprint two more laps, jog another. Stop for a breather. Then repeat.

recently moved to AZ and am in escrow on the house the lady and i are buying and we're planning on building a home gym in the garage. in the meantime however we joined the LA fitness that's literally 2 min down the street...

and HOLY HELL!!!! been a long time since i was a member at a regular gym in a decent sized town... does anybody know how to lift??? anybody heard of range of movement/motion or the tried and true saying "don't lift with your ego"??? it's hilarious what people load on a bar for any movement and then actually think they're knocking out reps.

the PT/lifting enthusiast inside of me is dying to correct these people but the asshole inside of me just wants to let it go so they cripple themselves with an injury and get the fuck out of the way... lol.

    end drunken rant.

^^^ that's exactly what i'm seeing everywhere... i'm literally dumbfounded.

when people actually do try compound movements it's on par with that video, however it's mostly isolation shit along with the usual curls in the squat rack and shrugs in the cage, but of course when people are dialing in their sick striations and getting the posterior delts to really pop it's with belts and gloves and excessive grunts while wearing tanks to show off one's sick ass tribal ink whilst having their ears tucked inside their flat bill camo hat and of course pants... because who has time for that leg day shit
