So far just some smoked King Salmon that the nephews and neice are going at like it was candy. :D

Went hiking to and on Matanuska Glacier today; another great day enjoyed by everyone. Most of the gang went and joined my youngest son at a local league baseball game this evening. SIL's husband and I opted for the stay home, drink beer and grill Caribou Sausage and hot dogs. :hungry: and :) now.

That's why I refer to him as the Wise Bearded One. ;)

    hello gang

been lurking and couldn't help popping in to say hello. working to hard every day in another shop for a pay check, trying to finish my factory 5 cobra kit car down close to being a driver, the motor came from the engine factory 331 inches and 415 hp, and start a body off on the 64 vette after finding it no longer had any body mount cushions left under it plus a piston knock in the old 327

taco is gone, in it's place is a 2015 f350 super cab fx4 diesel 4x4 what a towing beast. ford is going to be giving Toyota a hit in the not to far off future, coming back is the ranger that is being built all over save north America and Canada, rumored power is a direct injection turbo v6 gas and diesel power from the transit van. time to wake up Toyota!

paw prints attached came from a 628 pounder that simply wouldn't leave the area. seemed to love our garbage cans over the woods

Going to start to paint early today. My son will be over around 1:30 so I will have the Kindergarten room completed and hopefully the 1st grade classroom cut in so he can roll the walls.

Had an offer for CyberLink Power2Go 8 Platinum for free if I took a survey. I now have decent disc burning software on the downstairs PC. :)

Day 4 of the in-law invasion also goes in the win column. Took the jetboat river tour in Talkeetna. Weather cooperated and the Great One came out to play. :D

Thanks Ken. I'm actually really enjoying the visit. With any luck, I'm laying a foundation for my SIL's husband and the 3 nephews to come back up in August some year in the near future so I can take them along for some authentic Alaskan fishing from the Zodiac in Cook Inlet and Moose/Caribou hunting. He and I get along very well and I think our boys and we would really enjoy some hardcore Alaskan fishing and hunting together. For this trip, with the girls and Kristi's Mom along, we're doing the tourist scenery type stuff; but that's not a bad thing and the weather has been cooperating until today. It's raining steady this morning; hopefully it clears back up the next couple of days. Heading for the Kenai Peninsula tomorrow. Kristi's brother, his wife, and their 18 mos son fly in tonight.

My phone pics aren't great because of my OtterBox case, but it's a necessity with me being the meat-fisted moose man that I am. Kristi is getting some really good shots with her camera. Maybe I'll put together a short thread with her pics from the desktop computer once the visit is over. Got to keep moving for now. ;)

Have a great day, you, and all the Cool Old Dudes + Susan. :D

    Morning all.
Finished the lawn on my NEW MOWER!!!! :D
Carol got on it and did pretty good considering nothing is like the old one.
Some of her facial expressions were priceless.
Getting ready for racing next week. Brand new learning curve with a new car.
So I have some time off from work..
    :yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

Lawn has some peeks of green in the new topsoil. Hope it keeps on going.

Great to have Charlie back. I'm sure we all missed him.

Had a friend on my son stop in with a Harley he inherited. Talked for a few min and proceeded to kill the battery in the yard.
So Mike to the rescue. Hehehe.

A bike ride this afternoon and supper with mom and sis.

    Have a good day all....
