Excuses! You aren't allowed to do vehicle maintenance in army parking lots. I got a warning from an MP while trying to install a hitch.

Haha yeah we're not supposed to either. I can usually get away with anything that doesn't involve any oil.

I might try to replace the tie rods and ball joints Saturday after work at the auto hobby shop. Just depends on how tired I feel after work haha

I don't have a motorcycle. Thats the problem. Been saving for one....thus no money for the truck. Unless i make it all for the truck....and then...we can get some shit done :D

It looks similar to the kobalt one at my local Blowes
Thank you for quick responses Brent.

Yes, but I already $90 on my exhaust and that system isn't a priority for what I want to buy next right now haha

    Is on the list though.

Nope, GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition is the newest now.

Some minor improvements plus a slimmer housing.

Yup, both of those are new options as well.

Looked up video comparisons for lowlight and the only improvement is some minor sharpness... If there's any light in the scene it discolors it.

As for superview, there is a minor improvement in angle as well.

I really like how much more responsive the wifi app is. Only about 1-2 second delay rather than a 5-10 second delay. Plus smarter battery use.

The superview is good for scenery shots only mainly. You notice a huge amount of vertical distortion when filming in that mode, a la fisheye lens. Same with wide angle. I record in 1080p 45 fps medium angle. Only when I'm in a wide open setting do I switch to wide angle.

    I usually do 720p/120fps.

Time to go buy a new one and mess with it! :D

So, called a couple local reputable shops. The first one directed me to the one I talked with.

I intended just to have somebody replace my wheel bearings for me, but if they're going to be at that point I might as well have them replace the lower ball joints at the same time since it's only 4 extra bolts to remove on each side at that point.

They quoted me just over $500 in labor to replace the wheel bearings and ball joints! That includes an alignment, which I wouldn't get due to the fact that I'm replacing the tie rods anyways.

Might as well get Toyota to do it for that price!

Wow, another place just quoted over $800.... Calling for about 7 hours of labor...
