    I used a 1.5" arm(maybe 1.75", don't remember exactly) and "A" size ram balls

    Best place period. Not in line of site but right next to the mirror and can glance up and check it out without taking my eyes off the road.

    3M Command Velcro strips - no mount used - just used the clip only

    Works great - easy to remove to reset after topping off the fuel tank
