    I mounted it on my slider and recorded. Reviewed the video after and there's terrible static on some parts. Occurred when the truck was off as well. I'll see if I can post it soon.

    I'm also noticing it getting really hot after a short period.

    What were your recording settings?

    What type of memory card are you using?

    Did you move the video file from the card to the computer before playing it?

    What computer are you using?

    Have you updated the GoPro to the latest firmware?





    It does get warm, the wifi heats it up rather quickly. Shouldn't be anything to worry about it depending on what your definition of "hot" is.

    Recording settings are factory settings. And I used the 1080p Superview

    Memory card is a 64 gig 80 mb/s speed

    Didn't move it to the computer at first, viewed the video on the app on my iphone.

    Old Toshiba that apparently won't even view the videos I put on it LOL. I'm going to get another computer anyway to dedicate to the gopro.

    It says it checked for an update so it should be updated to the latest firmware

    I'm currently transferring the video to my phone then I can upload it to youtube so I can show you. Might take a while though.

    I also used the enclosed case. As far as getting hot, that black part around the lens was uncomfortable for me to keep a finger on.
