    Lmao.

And it's working as an electrician's apprentice. It's only on Wednesdays but it's usually $20/hr for about 10 hours a day. Nothing to shake a stick at

I don't even have time for a second job. I'm still at work now! If I took on another job, I'd never see my family.
There might be such a thing...

Billy, what does a belly skid cost roughly? My skids won't fit anymore because I've reconfigured my crossmembers..... :frusty: so I need a belly skid to save me all the hassle.

The plate cost me 100.00 and the pipe was 12.00 from Amazon. The shop has done the bending and welding for free so far. If they do the final weld for free also I will probably stop in one day with pizzas for the shop. I would guess 200.00 done

Can you ask about making a second one for my 4R? I'm looking at skid sets online but I think having a one-piece would be better for my needs at this point

I like it. We also have a standard Gracco convertible one with the base. The Recaro is so much easier to adjust, much nicer in general.

Sounds like the same set up we have. The recaro for the tundra and the graco for her 4runner.

Sounds like you need a project bike
I have the same one. I think the seat itself is nice but installing it was a PITA and the adjustment (or lack thereof) was disappointing. The fact that they actually tell you to roll a towel up and put it under the base in the directions is a terrible in my opinion. I do really like the seat, looks awesome and is easily adjustable for the baby but definitely has some design flaws. Seems almost like they designed to a point, then just gave up.

That's what the third job is for. Pay bills and buy a bike. I usually get $200 a day so I can have the bike in 2 weeks (only working one day a week for the electrician)

The towel thing is a little ghetto. I think it's more adjustable than the Gracco, and easier to adjust. No need to take a bunch of stuff off to adjust the shoulder strap height. Just turn the knob.

But ya, the lack of actual install adjustability is disappointing, especially for such an expensive carseat.

Since were on the topic of car seats, I say Chicco FTW. Strollers and high chairs from them too.

No, the directions actually say word for word to use a rolled up towel or a noodle. I know there are other things you can use, it just surprised me that was actually written in the directions.

For strollers, we've been using Graco and I have a no-name umbrella stroller that I like.

I am the one doing the skid. They are just helping with what I can't do in my drive or garage.
