Bases Loaded was so awesome. Seeing a player charge the mound after a beanball was the shite.

I feel like I was a small handful of people who actually had a Sega Mastersystem. I guess Nintendo was more popular than Sega, until the Genesis came out.

Genesis is really the only successful Sega system. I remember Sega being cooler than SNES because there was more blood in the Sega games. Saturn came out before Playstation but Playstation outsold it and marketed it better. Dreamcast was short lived. I've heard Dreamcast is an awesome system but I don't think I've ever played it.

I remember walking into Sears with my parents and little brother. They had the NEW SEGA GENESIS with Altered Beast playing...My little brother and I had our jaws on the ground. We told our parents all we wanted for Christmas was that machine.

Christmas morning was epic to say the least.

Then years went by and I bought the cd drive for it with SEWER SHARK where you cruise thru a sewer with crocs or gators or some shit.....I was in awe.

Part of Sega's failure was that they rushed the newer consoles too fast. No one wanted to develop for a system that might be discontinued faster than the competitor's systems.
