i could but that would be expensive and id like it to match all the sway away stuff up front...they offered to re plate all my shocks for free....but i think i remember people saying sway away shocks are really hard to take apart?

no harder then any other shock, id just take them off and throw some paint on them if you don't want to worry about taking them apart. doesn't matter what they look like on the outside, as long as they do their job

Shouldn't be any harder than anyone else's. It's the rust you are going to have to fight. When Anthony250 took my SAWs apart he didn't appear to have any more/less trouble than with my Kings.

^^ Correct SAW's are very simple to take apart. Three allen screws for the dust cap, then push down... pop clip out.... slide whole assembly out. Personally painting them is not a bad idea ,but if you can afford the recoating from them Id try to do that. And if you redo the eye to eye leaf measurement gotta redo the shock mounts too.

Then you don't want the 52.5. The 52.5 is only for a 12" shackle. So you should ideally be at 55.5 but 56.5 is damn close. It will actually help with you having the heavy bed still on the truck.
