Well you may just need to take a scenic ride that has some fun bumps or something. The Tacoma with sliders and good tires will hang on some pretty good trails so don't sell her short on that. I just get wary of wheeling by myself. I guess of you make sure you are over-prepared (food, water, shelter, clothes) and let several people know where you are going and when you will be back you can mitigate risk and go do something a bit more interesting than a dirt road in the mtns. I think bunce would be safe as long as you don't go bashing through any snow drifts that may or may not be up there still.

We can get a group together for Bunce, I like a good mellow trail. Just not this weekend fior me. Keep an eye on the "colorado events" thread I or someone else will post up in there trail runs.

There is a group going up Bunce on Sunday and I'll probably be there too.
    Sunday the 22nd
Meet at the Wal-Mart parking lot corner of Hwy-66 and Hwy-287, the group leaves promptly at 9:00 am, so be gassed up and ready to go.
It is fairly stock friendly, there are bypasses around most of the challenging stuff.

That's weird because the ranger district site shows that it is open.

Hey everybody. I'm not sure how to post on this forum so forgive me. This is Mike's wife. I wanted tell everyone that Mike passed away Wednesday June 18th. I know that one of the last normal things he could do was talk with others about his truck. I don't know when we will do a memorial but I will try to let you guys know. Thank you for giving Mike something to think about instead of fucking cancer. You all gave him a gift.

This truly breaks my heart. I am so sorry for your, and our, loss. Thank you so much for letting us know. I am glad to say that I knew him and that we had good times together. Please don't hesitate to let us in the TW community know what we can do to help you. Rest in peace, brother.

That is the very least we could do for Mike and I am very sorry that we couldn't do more to help him. He was a great guy although I never met him in person. I'm shocked to hear that. Let me know if there is anything at all I can do.

Rest In peace Mike. I'm sure there are some better days ahead for him up there
