But srsly Maryland thnaks for the warm welcome!!! I visited DC when I was younger and all I remember besides the girl I fancied was hot weather even during a lightning storm.

not even that... delaware has the beaches.... commiefornia moved to MD recently...

 

With rausch up north, The cove and George Washington national forrest out west, and windrock down south, i'd say there's a ton of great wheeling. maybe nothing with a Maryland zip code, but plenty close enough for weekend trips. and those are just the main ones, not including the lower key parks and forests.

Cost of living in maryland isn't good because our taxes are FUCKING HORRIBLE.

When it comes wheeling, if you don't have someone with private land do do it on (i used wheel logging roads and hunting trails), then you better head to PA or WV.

Its always pretty hot. Most of this week was in the 90s but today was in the 60s
And its always humid AF

 

When I move to MD in a month or two, my company bumps my salary 16% just to compensate for the higher cost of living compared to where I am in TX right now........so yeah, MD is an expensive place to live.

What's the good news

 

Ya gotta want to wheel... Md has a few less that legal spots to get some dirt on the tires but like Colin said, there's a selection of good places only a few hours drive away.
Still "day trip" potential.

 

Only place i really get mud anymore is industrial parks and atv trails lol
