I'm not against carrying as much as I can. Just can't fathom a purpose for me to need that many rounds. I wouldn't mind carrying 2 extra mags on me with the G42 though. I mean, I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

Nice! Good use of grip tape. I might've liked the 9mm better. Bringing the .40 back on target with the baby Glock was always a chore.

What's the different between double and single stack? How fast the next round loads? Or just how wide the grip/gun is?

Thanks. I used to have a 27 and a 23 and sold them for that reason and because 9mm is cheaper to shoot.
    Oh and nice wheels.

I have a 27, and a 42. I love them both, but that 42 is a great gun. It is the single stack .380. With LE discount, it was priced really well. The 27 is still my favorite gun, and a 30S with night sights will be my next. I have yet to shoot the 42, just bought the mag beaver tail, and versacarry holster for it. :woot:

What did you pick up your 42 for? I was quoted today $340 with LE discount.

Ive had a G36 for a good while now with zero issues.... its a love or hate gun it seems.

a slimline .45 ACP can surprise some shooters.

Bought a 9mm conversion barrel and 9mm magazines and turned my 23 into a 19.........cheaper than buying a new pistol and cheaper to shoot the 9mm than the .40.

that was my thought when looking into one for my S&W MP Shield... I don't want a laser for something that isnt meant to shoot more than 10yds really..

The new Beretta Nano 9mm is pretty slick too..

I really really love my G26.
I honestly have only fired my XD9 Service a couple of dozen times since getting it.

It bugs me, simply because everything I own is a "normal" grip size other than the G26.
I have pinky extensions (can't have the 2rd extensions in CA) on all of my mags.
The extension is situated in a way that it does not hurt concealability at all.

My G26 is every bit as accurate as my XD9 "Service" (4" barrel) out to 20 yards. Beyond 20 yards, a handgun is the wrong weapon.
I'm not a fan of them for a couple of reasons.
#1 - They present a very clear "Shoot here" picture to your opponent. If not immediately, then certainly after the first shot has been fired.
I feel the same way about gun-mounted tactical lights. When the police are clearing a building, they are holding their light in their off-hand, high and to the side. If a suspect takes a shot at the light, they are not going to hit the cop in central mass.
#2 - They easily become a crutch. I don't like putting the safety of my family on the functioning of a lithium battery, pushbutton, and laser diode. While every advantage you can build is a good thing, it is too easy to fall back on training and rely on the technology.
#3 - This applies more to night-sights than to lasers, but the same idea applies.... Before you shoot, you MUST be able to positively identify your target as friend or foe (or mirror ;) )
Night sights and laser sights once again make it too easy to forget basic training and take a shot at the shadow.
