So is it recent flood damage? I am confused because you said it was a no go but you are saying you were there. Please clarify.

Just up the road from that gate is another entrance. Did you look up there? I'm not even sure how they could gate that entrance.

Sean, I think Mike justly deserves a month at least as a header photograph on the main page. Bob did it before, I hope he will do it again.

Words can't express how sorry I am for your loss. I have been busy with our own battle against cancer so I haven't been on here that much lately so when Travis texted me earlier as I was waiting for my mom at one of her appointments I was in shock when he told me. Reading this post made it real and it still doesn't feel right. Mike was a good dude and I only wish we could have had more time with him. He and I talked about several things... hood lights, Satoshi grills, my Benchmade I have for sale that he wanted and even my mom's battle with cancer. That last one is tough to think about now. He was so positive and had such a great outlook that I honestly felt like he was going to be fine. Just a matter of time and he'd be good as new. It just sucks how life works sometimes and I know we all have to go sometime but some are just taken from us way too soon. It sucks that he was taken so soon & he will be missed but I find solace in knowing that he's not in pain anymore.

Cancer is a MoFo and I've been dealing with it myself since 2007 when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She's been stage 4 since 2012 and the road has gotten tougher. I don't like to talk about it much but felt the need to say something since I haven't been around much. Her cancer is HER2-Positive which means that it's incredibly aggressive and despite responding well to chemo in the past the disease builds up an immunity so we've been through twelve different chemos and the two she's currently on are basically the last straw and come with lots of potential side effects which she's experiencing. We were in & out of the hospital & ER's over the last few weeks and she has even had heart attacks the last couple of weeks. Just yesterday she asked me to shave her head (again) when the chemo started to make her hair fall out. I did so and then promptly turned the clippers on myself as I vowed she wouldn't go through this alone and it seemed like a trivial gesture but at this point it's about all I can do. I will try to honor Mike's memory during our battle and if you need anything at all don't hesitate to tell us and we'll gladly help out. Rest Easy Mike. You will be missed.

What's seems trivial to you is probably monumental to her. You are a good man and a phenomenal son for being the rock your momma needs.
