I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
all these fancy computers here.....my favorite computer is my old desktop made by sony. its like 5 or 6 years old and has either 256 or 512 mb of ram. and 1tb hard drive. I'd add more ram but thats the max it will hold.

I've got some hp laptop last year that has all my CAD and programing utilities on it for school.

I just got an asus netbook for toying around on the net and taking notes in class. its great. i love it. Its actually more powerful than my desktop.

    with super powers...
naw you gotta have a mother board capable of doing it. with an i7 its a whole new process, but with an older processor generally you will increase the fsb-front side bus speed, which in turn increases to clock speed of the processor, for instance

my q6600 is supposed to be 2.4 ghz and 1066 fsb, if I increase the fsb to 1400, the cpu would run at 3152 mhz, you will need to increase your cpu core voltage as well as the north bridge voltage to accomplish this tho.
There are also lots of tutorials on youtube.

my thoughts are that I would like to have a computer in the garage, but I don't want to buy one for that purpose. The garage is the place that computers go to die. The one in there now starts garbling music after about 45 minutes of music. I'm getting ready to toss the thing in the trash...after I learn how to make thermite over the hard drive.

Which brings me to another point....I've never had a hard drive fail *knocks on wood* I also have never given/thrown away a hard drive. I've probably got 15+ hard drives in a box in the garage. I always end up upgrading the capacity before the drive has a chance to die.
