NE area wheeling trip plans

Yeah, I cringed when he did it.
But, that's exactly what the sliders are there for. At least it wasn't his rocker panel!

 

Thought it was the undercarriage ha ha.

 

Fortunately no! He scuffed the slider bracket that hooks to the frame.

 

I puckered a little when I heard it, but I was already in for the ride down. Glad the slider mounting brackets took the hit.

 

It takes awhile to get used to how loud those hits sound inside the cab

 

Pretty sure if you dial the volume up you can hear your groan of dismay at 12 seconds, haha!
Makes me wish we'd thought to get Graydon on tape earlier when he was dragging his crossmember slider across that big rock. Both of us were so busy spotting to make sure he didn't ruin a driveshaft that I completely forgot about the camera I was holding

 

Its not a big deal. Im just glad i finally concored that one spot. With out the use of my sliders on that stump that tagged my door last year.

I wheeled Ma Bell and the Summit yesterday in Westhampton MA. Ma Bell is extremely challenging. Sliders and skids take a lot of abuse.

I got in contact with one of the guys that runs lmft in nh . Registered street trucks don't need anything special but trail rigs need a ohrv sticker . Which is like registering a atv in nh. He said if we have a group that wants to go out and wheel just to write him a email with a heads up . How many rigs and which day .
So if anybody wants to check it out I'd be up for it .
