:woot: for time off to "play" with the new race car! and WTH :woot: again. :D

Rainy morning has everyone sleeping in. Been running hard since they arrived Tuesday. A little downtime is probably needed, and we can use the rain. So here I am hanging in my garage and :pccoffee: :)

 Good Morning Cool Old Dudes and Susan.

WBO, I'd say :worthless: but sadly that would lead to a CoC violation. :(

Can't afford to lose any of my friends here to the ban hammer; i wouldn't have much of a reason left to keep coming to TW.

I hafta put day 5 of the II (In-Law Invasion) in the Tie column. A little bit of drama and controversy arose; just glad to put that one in the rearview with my sanity in tact.

At one time the plan for today was to drive to Seward on the Kenai Peninsula early this morning and do a whale watching marine life boat tour. By yesterday evening, I realized the odds of getting 16 people, 2/3 of them women and children, moving early in 3 vehicles and on schedule was the equivalent of winning Super Lotto. So I revised the plan; our only firm objective for today is to get everyone to the Lodge by this evening while taking in the scenery along the way. The boat tour stuff moved to Tuesday, which will be easier with everyone already down in the area. Wish me luck. ;)

If I don't report back, it'll be because I lost my sanity and decided to wander off into the Bush versus stand and fight the invaders.

Count one more old man in a kids truck. Thank goodness there's a place on this forum to discuss bed steps as a must-have option.

I had been driving a Honda Fit but it got demolished by hail a few weeks back. We'd been thinking about getting a truck for around-the-house utility purposes, and this seemed like the right time to do it. I shopped my a** off looking for a used one - these trucks really hold their value around here, to the point that anything decent in the used market is priced almost like new.

I finally found a 2012 access cab 4wd v6, picked it up on Monday. Plain jane, steel wheels and lots of black plastic; but it has the factory tow package, which was on my must-have list. I have to admit that I've already ordered stuff for it. It's an addiction.

So anyway. Hello, thanks for having this forum, and will someone please pass me a Black & Tan.

I love it when new guys sit on the porch.

Oh, a few words of advise.
Association with the younger crowd can cause a rise in blood pressure.
    Fart down wind.
The porch is uneven. There are 2 more steps on the south side. Make sure you count.

    Morning all:
WELCOME to another new, old mind!
The porch has plenty of room left. We're open to discussion on anything and everything; sort of like the morning coffee crowd! :)

Hey PaPa; We had a pretty good trap shooter from our area that went all over the country shooting. "Muskrat" was about 6' 8", and when he shouldered the gun I think he was about 2' closer to the target than anyone else.
Another name the guys called him was "Charlie Chip" (I think a trap shooter can relate to that!)
    Have fun, and good luck.
