    I am wondering if it is my angles still. I am guessing when it ripped is when I started getting my take off shudder again. I did just have a long ride with about 700 lbs in the bed and towing a lite trailer with furniture. 900 miles. I wonder if the angle change being loaded down could hosed it.

    That shouldn't have had any impact on it. Since you're lifted, all that weight probably put you close to stock height so the angle should have been close to what the truck was designed at (and I used designed very loosely because apparently the engineer who designed the driveline and rear suspension of the Tacoma must have been part time or an intern :rolleyes:)

    Awhile back I tried retrofitting a Chevy one ton carrier with a bracket but it was about 1/8" to big.. the shaft diameter that is... I need to do more research because the bracket is built just the wrong size carrier.
