F this guy. Talked a lot of shit. Couldn't back it up. Broke his truck. Kept on trying. Delayed us 2+ hours. Kept driving while others were on the obstacle. Huuuuuuge ego problem, not to mention unsafe

John, I have that same chunk out of my sidewall from slickrock in 2012 and I've been driving and wheeling on it no problem, but I don't have any bulging... I wouldn't use it if I had bulging.

Looks like a great trip! I'm bummed I couldn't make it!
    And awesome photos everyone!

Damn guess I'm buying a new tire, and wheel. Ouch. And I guess I should look out for another full size spare on CL too.

That's crazy, considering they haven't been seen south of Trinity county since the early 1900's, but there have been a ton of "spottings" around Tahoe and the eastern sierras in general the last couple of years!

So I figured out why I had that vibe on the drive train on the way home.

I bet that was on that first big rock at the base of the last obstacle right after the river crossing...I bent my carrier bearing skid there and had to unbolt it afterwards 'cause it was rubbing the drive shaft... Oh good ol' slick rock :p

Yep. It wraped around the tcase and pushed into the sides of the frame alittle bit. I unbolted it and couldnt get it out. Then the wife came out. we both hung on it. It still wouldnt come out. Then I got the wd40 crow bar and a sludge hammer. I got it out. Then I drove 3 miles without it and the vibe seems to be gone. I might be ordering a new tcase skid from you with the exhaust reroute. But I already rerouted my exhaust so hopefully it lines up. Do you think your skid would have held up better then allpros or Should I just try to bend my all pro one back to how it was?

    Damn really buckled it!
I certainly think mine would have held better than that one, havent seen a failed one yet anyways. Send me a few pics of your exhaust and I'll let you know what I think about it fitting.
If you bend that one back, it'll just bend again; and probably easier next time from having been fatigued
