Sliders welded on today, Miller Rock tomorrow.

 

Well the Runner did well for the majority of the day... I'm definitely glad I got the sliders installed. The trouble came when making a small river crossing, I had made the crossing fine the first time but as we turned to call it a day I had to cross again. Basically my fan turned into a propeller and shredded my radiator. I lost all blades on the fan and there was a big enough gash in the radiator that it wouldn't hold water. I was prepared to drive it home had the damage to the radiator hadn't been so severe. I was able to get pulled to a local Boulder Police station swap out the radiator (no fans in stock) and drive it home last night. It was a shitty end to what had been an awesome day. Oh yeah and only Toyota to break in a group of JEEPS pretty humiliating.

 

Meh, not much you could've done about that. And fan breaking when underwater is not a humiliating break. We all know that our Toyotas have a much more reliable driveline and are more mechanically sound in general. We got to give those jeep guys they're small victories every once in a while anyway. sorry to hear about that, hopefully it wasn't too expensive to get it going again.

AWESOME WEEKEND! Just what the doctor ordered after last week... Pictures to rip through tonight and have a few posted later.

 

It turned out to be quite a bit of fun despite all of our plans being blocked by snow.

 

Haha for reals. Every road almost. Was good times though!

ill do most tomorrow i am sure. I messed with PS a lot tonight and that slowed me down a lot. ill do my LR stuff tomorrow.

 

Was an awesome weekend even though i missed out on the 2nd day. I got a few photos to go through still but nothing spectacular.
