He said he couldn't cut a group buy, but could only consolidate shipping, so...not really worth it...

He's going to send me some strips I requested to light up the ground under the truck at each door. I'm wiring it to come on when you open/unlock the door and dim off with the dome light.

I had a roll of waterproof LED lights for exactly that, but never got around to it. Gave it to Nate and he put it to good use in his truck. I would like to do a strip either under the body on both sides or under the doors with a little coming up at the ends as a door marker. Don't know why these trucks still don't have a bed light...

Best bed lights ever :D Thanks Ivan!

I was able to sight in my .22 and hit that little 8" chicken at 100 yards consistently! I was pretty surprised. And at that range you can see the little .22 slug fly up and arch back down through the scope! Really cool.

Nate...question on your bed lights. Did you fashion a rocker switch to turn them on/off or did you utilize a pin switch whereas when the tailgate is opened the lights come on? I kinda like the tailgate open method to activate the lights, but I'm not sure there is a hot wire active in the rear of the truck without the vehicle on...

I'm still curious as to the beam pattern on those LED's. I'm sure they're brighter, but is it a spot or flood pattern? Dana/Hoenah??

It' looks 10 times better then stock and don't cost that much so since you got a big wad of cash this should be chump change. :D

P.S you only got 8 days left on the group buy better hurry.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/gr...-morimoto-xb-led-fog-lights-2012-tacomas.html

After almost a year's worth of preparation, the Morimoto XB LED Fog Lights have finally arrived! (or will soon! Estimated ship date = 6/16)

The "Type T" model here fits many Toyota & Lexus vehicles directly (check listing info below) and will wire up directly in place of the factory fogs. Can't beat that for instant upgrade gratification!

With their circular and angled front lens, convenient mounting points, and integrated adjusters, these fog lights can be considered to be universal and easy to mount with little extra work involved.

Dare to compare! The XB LED fogs look great. Are well-built. Perform like champs. have a virtually infinite life span. An unbeatable warranty, and you won't need a loan to afford them. Stock sucks. Forget about HID's, we'll even go as far as saying forget about a fog projector retrofit!

The XB Fogs use three 3W Philips Luxeon-T 5500K LED's to produce around 1200 lumens per side for a total of 2400 on the ground. The projector based optics inside concentrate that light into a perfectly distributed beam that's not only super wide, but properly shaped for use as a dedicated fog light.

Their durable polycarbonate lens should resist the test of time to keep the housings looking new, while the powder-coated cast aluminum housing is light weight and plenty strong, protecting the internals from moisture and road debris.

They have integrated aiming adjustments on the back-side to adjust their angle up or down after being mounted, just like stock.

Wiring is easy too! The XB LED Fogs power on with a simple H11 Male Input on the back, you can plug n play in most applications with the factory fog outlets.

Buy from the company with the Internet's best reputation for unbeatable prices and killer customer service. The Retrofit Source Inc. is trusted by car guys world-wide, so we invite you to contact us today with your questions. Whether you need a recommendation on parts, have a tech question, or even a wholesale inquiry: our customer service team is here to help!
