I'm down. I'll prolly get gas and crab for the kids before unless everyone is getting gas after.

 

Don't waste your time on the "otay truck trail" its a border patrol fireroad!! there's a cool spot to stop at the top and see all the way to DT but nothing worthy of a trail run. you'd all have more fun in pine valley or corral canyon..

 

However, There is an area where I go ride my dirt bike near the Otay Truck Trail that is fun (not too big though). If you guys go give me a call Gary and I'll tell you how to get there from the end of the truck trail.

Should be the same filter, my 3.4 uses the same fram as my sisters and cousins 4.0 (PH3614)

 

Might have a little surprise come September might even have a 5 in there somewhere

 

There is a writeup somewhere here that compares all the common oil filters. for the price the toyota beats out the k&n

 

There is an eBay seller that let you buy 20 filters and drain plug gaskets for $40...

hey thanks for all the help yesterday and thanks for the ride up sidewinder! Had a blast and the wife said it was ok for her 1st offroad experience (think her nerves still may be a little tense along with a few sore muscles haha).

 

Had a great time wheelin with everyone yesterday. Super fun! Thank you to all who made this such a great trip.

Haha! I'm staying in Anaheim for Disneyland till the 5th, just driving to SD for the 4th, then coming back on the 6th to stay at the Omni for one night.
