If your frame has been replaced or you have been provided help from Toyota and you feel comfortable posting your VIN please do so. If you were not provided help please explain if you can. Thanks!

I am currently battling that issue. Just brought it up with the dealership yesterday because I had the engine mount push through the frame over the weekend. So far the only issue might be that I live in Canada... and unfortunately for me, not a lot of Canadians have complained about it yet. Having said that, the dealership I deal with has been on the ball about a few old issues I had, so my fingers are crossed.

'07 Prerunner, Iowa, not listed in "cold weather states". I talked to my selling dealer and was told to bring it in for inspection, if it didn't pass they would go from there, if it passed they couldn't apply the CRC. I passed. When I mentioned my concerns about the rust and distortion of the metal in the areas of riveted in reinforcement there was a moment of silence and then he repeated "it passed". So I'll just keep monitoring the rust issue.

What's the criteria for having it replaced?

I have a 2007, original owner, bought while stationed in MD but it's spent most of its life in PA. I'm at around 104k miles.

Need to amend the poll with a 3rd choice- "the dealer/toyota told me to go pound sand"

Truck is at the dealer now and frame has been ordered. I'm not going to post my vin but I bought it new in March 2005, 66k, towed boats over the years in MA (salt), kept it relatively clean and garaged. I have pursued the rust issues for almost 5 years. I have some closure since on Monday a hole in the frame was found just forward of the catalytic converter on the passenger side.

Awesome thanks! This helps in the process of comparing my vin to others that ARE being fixed/replaced. All vins I have checked have the 11th position as z, same as mine which is disturbing in that I was told by service manager that my vin wasn't included because of place of manufacture. Thanks and good luck to all with same problem

I just had frame replaced in my 2005 tacoma. Picking it up tomorrow. I asked dealer before it was done if I could have this done after my move frome Maine to SC. They said no. Now I have to drive 1450 miles to Beaufort SC in 3 weeks after my truck had what amounts to a heart transplant. I am not happy.
