    Do they even look at that at all? I've seen people with bumper mounted tow balls with Uhaul trailers before. I bet if they looked and where concerned at all, they might make you get the insurance on it. Places around here atleast, will pretty much rent to anyone with a license and the money to pay for it.

    That's what I am not sure about. I've never rented a trailer before. From what I saw online it looks like they make you get insurance always anyway.

    Yea, I'm not sure. Never rented one of the trailers. I bet if anything they see if you have the proper tow ball and plug for lights and call it a day.
