Im clearly lost... Just asked what the PA law was... Nj law is only if it has a motor or is over 14' so its basically the same as NJ.

Any unpowered boat in PA needs a launch permit to use on pretty much anything but private land. $18 for two years so not really a big deal.

Or a hefty $150 fine and then having to get the permit anyways! Spending the 18 and 10 at the place getting it done is cheap insurance for me!

Is the launch permit good for the whole state? No matter what lake? Ive never heard of that here... There is 1 place you have to pay near me and thats the manasquan reservoir...

But its good to know seeing as I had plans to head up to the smaller PA lakes to fish.

Yep good to go anywhere! Some places near me require you wear a life jacket at all times. We don't go there. Fuck that. I contemplate leaving mine in the truck most of the time we go but IDK the penalty for doing that.

And you can get them at pretty much any state park, or online. Just a sticker to slap on the boat.

Yeah I went to the local notary shop and they charged 10 bucks to get it on top of the $18 fee. But for me to drive 20 miles each way to a park station or wait for the internet to send it didn't bother me to spend a couple bucks to get it instantly right where I was going paddling.

No tires going to hold up to a bolt.

Ben, Fred, and myself never had any issues with Duratracs that I can remember :notsure:

Ive said it time and time again...Duratracs are an aggressive AT tire. Not a e-load rock crawling MT with 3 ply sidewalls. If you drag one over a rock they will slice just like any other 2 ply sidewall AT.

Penalty for that is probably hefty... In NJ you don't have to wear one if you are over 14 years old but you have to have it on the boat/kayak at all times... Its a Federal law that applies to lakes and the ocean

Just a joke mainly :D but I won't be doing much rock crawling in my truck... Just playing in poop water so I shouldn't have too much to worry about.

wait until winter... Ive never had a tire that was as good as them in snow and sand. The only reason I got new tires was for additional clearance. Dalton got tired of saving me from being high sided all the time on the trails.

If you order it online you can print out a paper to keep with you until the official stickers come. No wait necessary.

Glad to see you back brother. Looking forward to seeing you put that crawlbox to work on other shit besides NJ sand.
