I wouldn't say done but it is mounted. I still want to tweak the rear standoffs so it sits higher and maybe the fronts. I need to come up with a plan for the next section also. yqa3avy9_e0ad79859412aae02385a89965931547960114c6.jpgygupajeh_ef97404f4534f106d708e5ad06d16712247d64f5.jpgduzuda6e_a84386671fee740d83fc5eb87f4d92abe90eef6f.jpgmujequpe_72fdd39063f1bb2607eb2df123bb47039c5479c3.jpgy7asenyg_d36846be4beeffcd3a90899bfcc123ba3c008ec4.jpgy5avynyz_112f759cc84214fcb7c899d03f0271f0b0e087d9.jpga5enedet_b1ab94627236acaa783633decd99b22c0494b8c4.jpghyrunyby_63467d8c04daa73f9420193d64f41f927e509a79.jpg

Looks good, Bill. Nice weld work on there, too. I never could get the hang of welding aluminum for some reason. Not that I've tried many times since high school shop, but still...
Did they put some nylon bushings or anything in there to isolate the aluminum skid mounts from the steel on your frame?

Nope "they" (lol) didnt isolate any thing. It is on cause I was excited to see it on but I want to add some rubber to the front and make the rears shorter. Over all I am happy, I just need to tweak it a little

No, I actually did mean 'They'
He said that he took it to a shop to have the mounting columns welded on; I was curious if they'd added a bushing to the tube for isolation purposes.
I know Billy's smart enough to do it; I was curious if the garage had thought of it.

What?! A custom project built from scratch needs modification?!

'marine grade' doesn't mean you can use it as a boat!

I hope this is appropriate, but I'm just looking for some quick feedback for this trailer and cost.

Also, my truck ('05 DBSB 6-SPD) does NOT have a towing package, so I'm wanting to make sure I won't have any issues towing it.

    Thanks.

I actually have that same trailer and I built sides on it similar to the one in your ad. You will not have any issues with that trailer, it's light and tracks nicely. I've towed much heavier trailers with my non-tow package equiped Tacoma and it's done well, the weak link being the suspension when you get into heavier loads.

FWIW, I bought the same trailer for $600 without the sides, jack and spare tire so that price is pretty inline with what I paid for mine.
