Coccyx is your tail bone so you couldnt have strained it, cuz strains refer to muscle. But I had a friend with pain in the same area and he had an odd injury with a crazy name, ill see if i can find a link i just cant remember the name. He has symptoms like you feel it worse while sitting or standing, do you get a sharp pain when going from a seated position to standing? And also is it worse when u sit on soft surfaces. What he had was caused by imflamation in his low lumber spine at like the point where it connects to your sacrum. Another thing that could be causing pain there like you said is alot of max effort lifts could just be putting to much strain on your low back, but u made it sounds like its lowet like in your tailbone region. (If you have an anteriorly rotated pelvis that can make the stress worse too incase you have that.) is the pain in your actual coccyx like not even realy in your back but that bone beetween you ur but cheeks? Or is it more in your sacrum/lower lumbar? Could be a simple thing like maybe be your hips got tweeked and u pinched a nerve iv had that happen and one trip to the chiro fixes that no problem haha

Hope some of that helps ha but where exaclty does it hurt and what triggers it?

kinda when I sit-stand, but mostly when I bent over to pick shit up. it's not my lower back, it's lower, right where my tailbone is...I just don't know what the muscles directly attached to it are called. haha

Gonna try call off the max effort shit for a few weeks and see if it goes away, don't want it to get worse

I wanted 3 plates on the squat!

Not worth getting hurt over, just gota take it slow. Personaly i dont like working super high to my 1rm verry often its to hard on my body, i like Wendlers powerlifting system i used to use it and it was alot easier on my body but i still got results, worth reading about if your not familiar with it.

And i dont know then what could be bugging you right there i dont know what or if any muscles insert or origonate at your tail bone but i dont think any do. Ur local core stabilizer insert to your spine and alot of leg musclest originate around your pelvic griddle in there so could be alot of things its hard to say, id say your best bet would be like you said laying off max effort lifts for a bit and seeing if it changes at all then go from there

Also for anyone thats hard on themselfs or trains realy frequently i picked up this EMS (electric muscle stimulator) device a few months ago and its fucking bad ass! Some guy on the strip in vegas sold me it and it gets used more than my foam roller now. I couldnt find too much online about EMS but its alot like stem. I throw it on for about and hour a day and it makes a huge diffrence. It was a little pricey but definitly worth it for sure! Anyone else om here use one before of have one? 3agena5a_11148dec0867402e84aa75b1041855a3696fcf16.jpgpyjavu6u_13f8b362b250b8b9685d48bc969950ed4504e016.jpg

Came into the gym this morning and weighed in for the first time since I've been back from the beach. Lost 1/2 a lb....probably due to my strict liquid diet I was on while down there (bud light)

    lulz.

x2. Everyone on there that talked about fitness were either people who've been going to the gym for a month and constantly update their status to tell folks they're off to the gym, skinny phags showing off their abs and 12" arms, or CrossFit people posting their fucking WOD times...

I read a men's health article on how bikers got such huge legs. I think it was just adding 1 minute stationary bike sprints and squats

I hate the people who do nothing but watch youtube videos of other people, and somehow think that translates into actual lifting experience

I usually do that, I'm just doing a different workout because most of the exercises are different from what I've been doing in the previous months

Plus, dumbbell bench is harder :D

LEG DAY. Hate it. Can't walk
Squats, front squats, lunges, hammy curls, leg extensions, ended with calf raises.

    Take that, international Chest day.

Oh ok. Just curious on what you do! Haha. I always start my days off with my big lifts. It's how I have been trained. Haha. I love the dumbbells so much more though. Better contractions and rotation so it's easier on my joints.

Yeah, I had been doing the basic 4 day splits (chest/tris, back/bis, shoulders, legs) doing 3-4 sets of 6-10 for like 6 months and just got tired of it. Now I'm doing a 6 day (chest, back, arms, shoulders, legs, arms) that incorporates high weight, low reps at the beginning and high reps, lower weight at the end; it's brutal and a good change.
