Dunno. August would be nice. Get what I've going finished up and chill out for July after Windrock. Go back at it with getting the locker and better LEDs.

Nope. See what kind of info I can dig up this evening. Called the Fastenal store this morning, nothing yet.

Went and picked up the other 2 KM2s this afternoon though. :D

    Gun Metal Plasti-Derp.

Didn't seat the bead on the 2 new tires yet, will re-spray the rim again. Tire machine kinda buggers up the outside edges.

One of the days this week I'll stay late at work and get these tires/gears going on. Sooner the better, put a few miles on everything before I drive 6 hours on the highway to Windrock.

I do enjoy the green. Would be a horrible clash of color on my truck however.

Try and get this stuff installed today if I can. There is a rare lull at the shop currently, still some work but not as much as usual and have a few empty bays. If I make it to lunch today and haven't heard from Fastenal, start on these gears/tires.

God I hope these 4.30s are fucking right and fit....

For those reading this page...Here, enjoy a lovely song while viewing/reading.

Didn't get to break into anything today. A wait on the inner pinion bearing has me held up, rare part it seems.

Time wise, if everything broke loose and didn't give me fits coming off, I could probably do a complete R & P swap in a Taco in like 30-40 minutes with a balls to the wall work pace. Shit, the Ring and Pinion part is the easy part, it's getting to those bitches is what really adds time on a Taco. Like a Chevy truck, I could have the Pinion and Carrier out in 10 minutes...if I wanted. Same goal accomplished. Very different set-ups.

I will not however be going at a balls to the wall pace. It's my baby, she deserves tender love and care. At the pace I like, I'd say about an hour and a half. 30 mins getting the 3rd out. 30 minutes to get the R&P swapped and 30 to go back in. I have no idea what the book labor time is, I should look it up.

Did you have to order the bearing from Toyota?

Nope, just a NAPA bearing. Had no problems with the seal and outer bearing and race. When he went to look up the inner...Uhh..WTF...Gave him 2 listings of stores who had that bearing in stock...both in CA. So I'm waiting on a bearing to get shipped from Fresno. Thursday or Friday. Hoping Thursday since I got the order placed at 7:45am Ohio time yesterday.

2 other parts stores couldn't get it at all.

Should have called Toyota as weird as it sounds, they can normally get any bearing next day, and they don't really over charge on them

Have no idea what brand of bearing I'll get. Won't be in a tizzy over a NAPA branded bearing, it's what the shop uses for all our rear end jobs and haven't had anything coming back with problems. I just want the right bearing, sometimes getting the right part is the hardest part of a whole job.

Another day of nothing. Tires are ready to go on the truck after getting balanced today.

Things are finally moving in the house topic. Home inspection tomorrow at 4. Everything is cool, then close the 25th of next month. Have I posted a pic of this house at all?

    Here's a couple.

I always thought that was hilarious when my real estate agent told me about short sales and how they can take up to a year. Good job on the house man
