Sold my useless Lexus, and got a Tacoma (was my original intention) now my dog has a place to sit (70lb English bull terrier), i can toss bikes in the back, tents, etc!! I just picked it up last night and was wondering how I did.
Anyways this is what I got.
-2010 Tacoma v6 Double cab LB, TRD Sport Magnetic Gray Metallic.
    -70k miles
-19.8 + tax_license + all the BS fees about 22k out the door.
Not sure if it's a good deal, but I've been looking for a few months and it's the best I could find within my price range.
Minus the Long bed I am pretty happy with it.. I honestly didn't know it was even a long bed as in it doesn't look LONG, I was driving it back and seen one of the short ones, duh! but I am sure it will come in handy.. I have no intention to Crawl rocks or anything bonkers, just camping trips, desert runs, snowboarding trips, etc..

1 foot longer I don't think will kill me, most beds I've seen on other trucks, 6 feet is not considered long. I dunno I think ill get over it.

    Some stuff...
Congrats and welcome to The World!

I have a short-bed and they're handy for hauling postage stamps, but that's about it! With that extra 12" you should be set for everything you said you intend to use your rig for.

When I purchased my 2011 aclb in May of 2012, I really wanted a dcsb.

After thinking about it, I figured my snowboard probably wouldn't even fit in that tiny space they call a bed.

I couldn't be happier with the long bed. You'll end up loving it I bet.

Seems like a pretty good deal as well

At that price I assume 2WD? If 4WD that is a heck of a deal. Either way sounds pretty good.

    Congratulations.

Sounds like a fair deal to me - finding a 2010 with under 150k miles on a Tacoma is not easy.

Like you said, the bed difference shouldn't make a big difference. I have the DCSB, but would have taken a DCLB if they'd had one equipped to my liking. 5' or 6', either way you'll need a few straps and/or a bungee net to haul much of anything

Yeah most TRD's DC's I've found in southern California (rust free?) in the 18k to 19k range had 90-100k miles and were 3 years older. even ones with 150k were going for 15k..
