I wanted to see who was running the black FJ TT rims on their Tacoma's and find out if there were any problems running them. Post Pics and list any problems with spacing. Also where did you get them and the price (please). :D

you cant get them anymore, unless you get them off ebay or craigslist or some site of that sort. to get them from toyota you need a vin #, DL, and registration along with proof of damage to your current FJ wheels. They are speical edition so toyota is being really strict on letting them out

EDIT: you will be paying WAY too much if you do buy them from one of the above sites. not worth it at all IMO. get the silver ones and PC or paint them

My brother-in-law actually wants some, so it is his money!! I know that they are hard to come by, but just want to see them on and hear from those that have them. Then he can go blow his wod on his rims. He has an '09 and is getting ready to lift and stuff. He really wants those rims, so who am I to stop him. :D

I had them, but sold them when I saw the skyrocketing prices. Wish I would have kept them now though... they look sick on our trucks.

They fit fine, no issues whatsoever. I even ran the TPMS from my stock steelies with no issues, though many on here argue that is not possible.

For one, thanks for providing the info that I asked for. And yes they do look really nice on our trucks. My brother in law is going for the "Stormtrooper" look, so they would look killer. How much did you end up getting for them?

    A few bolts are different.
the wheels fit great. mine are not the black ones, they are the 2007 TRD SE anthracite wheels but..... If your going for a lift and want to run 285's the wheels + tires fit perfectly, may still have to remove the mud flaps but after that maybe only very minimal trimming of the fender flare.

Edit: I have many pics in my galler showing how they fit.

    Thanks Mr. Wayne, LOL
I have seen your post all over the place, I can't believe I didn't think to look in your gallery. Thanks! He will probably be going with a 3" lift and yea probably the 285's. He does have an '09 Sport, so do you think that they will still fit? I think, even in the Anthracite, it would look good! They look so similar.

there should be no design change so yes everything should be the same. what color is his truck? I got the anthracite instead of the black to give it a little contrast. I think it looks a little better that way for me having a black truck.

How much did that cost total and do you have any pics? That does sound like it would be a good route. How does the powdercoating hold up?
