It's a limited window since it's a high altitude trail. It's all snow dependent but some people said its clear now. So maybe mid June to late august.

Yeah I'm still looking. I had an interview last week and got offered the job right away. But I did some thinking and decided not to take it. I've been applying for gov jobs like crazy. Got 4 currently out and waiting and one new one popped up today I'm going to apply for. Just gotta get my foot in the door and then it should be smooth sailing from there. I'm using the shotgun approach haha

 

the shot gun approach is the way to go initially haha! I really need/want another career specific internship/job. But bills have to be paid so I cant just wait around for another accounting internship to come up. So ive been reduced to applying for more generic jobs

 

I feel like I've learned nothing from my finance classes..

Like I feel like I know nothing towards what I need to know. I barely know how to value stocks and portfolios..

 

Wanna go east a ways? Haha I was all set to go drive haul trucks in Wyoming in a coal mine. 2 days before I was scheduled to go do all my pre employment physicals and stuff the company I'm at now came through for me. I think it would've been cool for maybe a few weeks but after the novelty of driving one of those things wore off you're just driving in circles 12 hours a day.

Or there's always oil in ND and MT

 

So...I am applying for a job at a university I want to go to for grad school. It's 30-45k/year depending on stuff but the kicker is......it will come with a fee waiver.

Which means if I get the job, apply and get into the program I am looking at (after a few years), and continue working there, I wont have to pay for my masters.

The program will take longer cause I wont be full time but that's ok with me.

Thoughts?

 

Do it. If you don't mind it taking longer and making money while you're at it, do it.

 

Do it. Unless you are getting a job making 20-30k more per year to spend on your Masters then its worth it

 

And.....save your money

No its an admin assistant job. I would do a TA in a heart beat. I love talking

Maybe I could swing a TAA (per se) and get my foot in the door of the kines department

time doesnt matter if you're not paying for it IMHO


I was gonna undergrad TA this semester but they closed the application before I got my grades gonna try again next semester, so that I have a foot in the door if I do my masters here

teaching freshmen chemistry. LAAAAWWLLLLLLLLLLL
