Lawnmower beer for some. Meant to be consumed while cutting the grass. I prefer a nice Dirt Wolf or four while cutting. Gives me a few good breaks.

Every year.Well except for getting fresh ones this year. I usually stash four or five to age. Got one I'm clinging to from 2010.

Very good. I will buy another if I see it again. A little too smooth for 9.2% but that is not a bad thing.

I talked to a guy today at a local store that drank one a few weeks ago he was aging from 2010. He said it was like liquid crack.
I am aging the 2 I have and will keep hunting for more. I really want some of their Olde School and World Wide Stout. Olde school gets down here sometimes but Texas gets no love on the stout.

For those of you that remember the HomeBrew4Heroes (aka HB4H) thing I did last November and February; we are doing a second fund raiser to try to raise cash for a second "beer drop" this summer. The shirts are one of kind each run so far so if you are in to limited edition t-shirts - whatever you damn hipster. If you are into supporting our troops with a cold homebrewed beer when they come home from which ever asscrackastan they were in then these are the shirts for you. Here is the link (click here) and the shirts are $20 each plus $5 s/h. I will personally vouch that the guys that set all this are a not making a single dime off of any of this. The original guy to come up with this came up with it as a response to his brother being sent back to Afghanistan.

Picture is from our first beer drop. It was freezing and trying to drizzle on us on Super Bowl Sunday when these guys came home. We gave out ~70 boxes (each box had 2 six packs of homebrewed beer).

Thanks. I wish I could take credit for it; but I only managed to get in on the idea on the ground floor. Now we are trying to go full non-profit legit and expand the drop area and found we need some more scratch.

As a guy that came home from three deployments; I wish I could have been on the receiving end of this just once. Since I wasn't I will do my best to be on this end every time I can be. The looks on their faces was pretty awesome.

Oh yeah - did I mention that $20 gets you a limited edition tshirt that pays for homebrewed beer for guys/gals coming home? :)
