Just got stationed here about a month ago. (Goose Creek area) Looking for somewhere that I can pack the family up to go camping in a tent for the weekend. Would really like to find a place where I could drive my truck out so not a whole lot of people were around to camp. Wouldn't mind driving an hour or two. Any suggestions?

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    no. just no....lol

sports have the same calipers and rotors as any other 2nd gen 6 lugger. i have 2 sets of 16s i run on my sport. both of them are a **** hair from touching the caliper though. it's between the face of the caliper and the back of the wheel mounting surface that's usually the issue.

there's camping areas in Francis Marion, right? may not be as far away as you'd like though.

there is also the MWR area on the other side of moncks corner that you can rent little cabins, etc on the water there. not tents, but still an option.

another may be Poinsett State Park/Manchester Forest that's around 2 hours away near sumter/shaw afb that may have camping areas as well.
