What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Well here's a 255 load E at 15psi... Haha

 

Dang! next set of tires im gonna get some 285 75's. i like the look of 33 12.5's but i want to run tundra brakes... which doesn't work with 15's if im not mistaken

 

Yup, doesn't work with 15's and many 16's.

 

Damn. Mine were down to 15 psi last weekend and don't have nearly that much flex to them. Load range E as well.

 

id go to 15's if i did.

 

255/85 16's aired down to 15psi. To air back up, I just use one of those cheap MV-50 12v compressors, takes some time but does the trick.

 

you will need 5.29s for sure by then..just say

yes it is. But when and if you lock later in life..you'll really know how to pick your lines and drive good.

no lower then 15...as that photo shows..18-20 will be fine.

Almost helps to start with open diffs because of the skills you gain. ill have to try airing down next time i go wheeling. should have a co2 setup by then.

yep exactly. I think everyone would be a bit smarter about wheeling if they all started open/open..just my opinion though.

All of this tire talk has reminded me I need new ones... I'm leaning toward MTRs even though I don't really NEED a MT tire lol.

i have been considering getting all terrains for my next set only because i drive so many highway miles. Kinda depends on my money situation when it comes time for tires.

 

I know, my plan is to skip 37s all together. but before then, i need to borrow some 37s (36s to be precise) for one trail

 

You will slap yourself in the face every time you go out and see the truck with ATs on it instead of MTs

that is sooo true. i have yet to find any good wheeling close to my house... so i hardly ever find time to get offroad

 

well ive been rolling around on the ATs since moab. But since the bike works now i think ill throw on the 35s and leave them on and not drive it. Then I will have 2 things in the driveway to masturbate to.

However I will never get another set of ats for the truck haha

 

What all have you done to your truck? It is a really nice looking truck!
