Not really

Had to pull the fender liner out to do some work on another project anyway, so I just went with it.

 

To provide you with an honest feedback. I don't like the look you created. It looks cheap and unfinished. I prefer the flares stock or aftermarket. But to be honest it's your truck if you like it go with it.

I like how you used the allen head screws. Looks better than phillips imo. Might look good painted black

I went fflareless for a month or two. That was just until I found the motivation to trim them. It's not a bad look. But now I think you need bigger tires

Tapped dome light circuit to install footwell lights and access point for bed light relay power.

 

Installed seat warmers with oem switches!

 

Write up?

 

Fair enough. We all have our preferences! Let's just say it's on a trial basis while I have my wheel well removed. If I change my mind I can easily go back to stock!

But for now I think I like it.

I wanted to avoid it looking like cheap plastic plugs, and I don't feel like taking the effort to color-match. Stainless at least works with the silver though haha.

Allen heads were just force of habit, really. That's all we use at work, so it's my go-to fastener for any mechanical project.

 

Got a pop in lock installed today.

I went and had it professionally installed for about $100, more than worth it to me simply because I didn't want to take the upholstery off the seats myself. The included instructions should make it pretty easy if your an avid do it your selfer.

Testing out the DRL kit. Got the mounting plates from a member local to me.



I need to get everything adjusted, but I think it's going to look pretty killer. I'm now just waiting for the wiring harness and new bulbs to properly set up the ARB fog lamps. I should have those in hand on Saturday, so it shouldn't be too difficult to get everything squared away.

 

Finished up the bed rack. Yakima BedRock, 66" crossbars, Yakima LoadWarrior, and Yakima Viper Fork mounts.
