Netflix. There are the first couple seasons on YouTube. I think I've watched all 7 seasons like 4 times.

It originally aired on HBO so you should be able to find it in other places.

 

I have Amazon Prime, which it's not on, tried Hulu, Sony, etc. HBO is too high-brow for me, I can't afford it....


Most likely buying a new LCA since I don't have the tools nor want the hassle of replacing bushings. Does anyone have thoughts on these manufacturers?:

Prices seem to span the board and I just need to know if quality will be good on the ones with cheaper prices.

I have question for you guys??

my Brake pedal went limp over the last couple days. Y. what would you do first?
-check brake fluid
-check if brake lines
-bleed brakes
-get new shoes and rotor

Granted i just replace the shoes and rotors front/back not that long ago.

or just take to a mechanic

Not sure if it is the master brake cylinder

 

Check the cylinder for leaks. Then check the lines for kinks, leaks or damage. If nothing there, I'd bleed the brakes again. If that doesn't fix it, check the gap between the rear shoes/drum and the same for the front breaks and rotors. If nothing there, I'd take it to a shop. Idk how to check if a brake booster isn't working to it's full potential. Also if the booster was bad, the brake should be harder to press.

 

Also heard a grinding noise just when i got home yesterday. Like something was scraping the rotors.

Check the brake fluid reservoir for low fluid level. If it's low then there's a leak somewhere with in the system. Check the lines and fittings for leaks. Also check the lines at the driver side fire wall for witness or any signs of the line breaking or whatever. I would also pull the drums if you are looking for leaks

If the reservoir level is good then maybe air in the system as mentioned already. Last would be the booster failing but least likely.

Scrapping noise could be something stuck between the front brake dust shields


Edit: loose calipers can also give a soft pedal feel

Woah bro...turn it back down from 11 and think about what you want to accomplish. Tacomas are deplorable for sound, so you might have plenty of sound now, just need to address other issues like resonance or if your speakers are out of phase.

My suggestion, do it yourself and the money you save, re-invest in better components, and/or upgrade the sound profile of your truck (sound deadening, etc). Also, this lets you really inspect and understand what is going on, because throwing money at getting more sound, may just make more problems. Head over to the Audio threads and have a gander at some of the installs that are possible. There are some REALLY good setups on there, and loads of info to help decide what you need instead of what you want.

I am in the process of doing a deadening project and it has made a HUGE improvement, and that's with the chitty factory speakers Toyota couldn't sell as $10 computer speakers. It should be really good with components and a d-class amp.

If you want to just lighten the load that is in your wallet, I can install a new volume knob that goes to 12 for the low, good guy price of...how much did you say you wanted to spend?
