traffic ticket

    ok so i got a ticket for driving the the median ( georgia code 40-6-50) today cause i didnt want to wait in line at a red light to get to the turn lane and wait some more at the red light so i went a little off-roading and got caught. my question is that if there is a discrepancy on the ticket, ie wrong year model, could the ticket be thrown out. i have heard that if some info was wrong on the ticket the judge would throw it out? any help?

    thats what ive heard too. but i dont think they will throw it out over the wrong year model. but then again i could be wrong. its worth a shot :thumbsup:

    nope. no VIN. and i just looked at it again and he also got me license expiration date wrong. says on the ticket that it expired on 7/24/09 but it doesnt expire until 2012.

    Depends alot on the judge too...some lean to keeping officers on their toes and demanding perfection...some lean towards not wanting to hear bitching about little things and will hit you with the worst fine they are allowed by law for trying to quibble over stuff.

    Only ticket I ever got was a speeding ticket out of state. Cop mispelled my last name on the ticket. Didn't bother fighting it though since it still has your registration info on it and everything. Also wasn't alot of money either.
