    I got the idea from your build thread haha. I've never been up there except for once last winter to watch the lights but never on the trails just drove a little ways in from the palmer side. I was thinking about going friday and possibly camping somewhere out there buuuuuuut the limit on the Russian just went back up to 6 and the sanctuarary is open so i'm thinking thats where i may be friday after work lol Sunday I should be good though.

    Yep it usually opens July 1 or around there. I think I'm headed somewhere Thursday night. Was thinking either petersville or homer...but now with the Russian open at the sanctuary I may be doing that instead too lol. We'll see. I absolutely hate fishing the Russian haha.

    I went to the Russian Sunday and only got one I'm thinking about going today after work. Daniel it sounds like you need some rain gear I just bought cheap coat at Fred Meyers and it does just fine

    FYI, I'll be in Kenai dipnetting on the beach from July 13-17. I'll have a sweet camp set up so if anyone is in the area or wants to come down to fish, stop on by and have a beer and sit around the fire if you want.
