OME 886, AAL, ARB Bumper, XRC8 Winch, Sony MEX-N5000BT, and one angry beagle.
I have an access cab with ARB + XRC8 with OME 886 + spacer in the front and 2" AAL in the back. Pretty sure I got a solid 3" of of the lift on stock tires. More with the 255s. I would also recommend removing the sway bar.
Oh and also get some 3° shims and make sure your kit comes with longer center pins and u-bolts. Or better yet just get a u-bolt flip kit.
I'll look up my measurements later today and double check.

Yeah I'll help you out, I've never worked on a second gen but I'm sure we can figure it out. It's really not that difficult except for the uppers, i have no experience doing those might be better to wait for a build party. The omes and leafs should be easy. Yes get them pre-assembled.

For the UCA,s get new bolts from the dealer. You will most likely have to cut them to get them out then install the new ones in the opposite direction.

It's easier to do it this way, but me and plenty of other folks did fine with using the existing bolts.

Anything to save a buck ;)

Hey Aaron I have the 886s holding up the AP bumper and M8000 winch (yes thats the regular wire winch line). With 33" tires. I've had this set up for 120k miles.

Ton of pics in my build

There was no way to get mine out without cutting the firewallor bending the brake lines out of the way. We tried for a few mins. And since we were at toyota in one of the bays on a lift i just bought new ones and cut the old ones .was super easy that way and i didnt have to bend or beat anything out the way. I have heard that some yrs are easier then others but idk.

Before you do this consider the following. If the nut comes off, and you've installed the bolts backward, you could lose the bolt and the nut. If the bolt is installed correctly and the nut comes off, you've lost the nut and can continue on albeit at a slower pace. You might be able to safety wire things too.

It is not difficult to get the bolt out and takes only a couple of minutes.

I read it was harder on some yrs and we tried for a while to get it out there was no way without bending something.even the other mechanics there said sometimes its the best way to just cut it.but if you want to come over and turn mine around and show me how its done i will supply bbq and beer. As now your talk about loosing a nut has got me worried.

Maybe so. idk. I used a set of channel locks and bent stuff out of the way. Bolt popped right out and back in again w/o much trouble.

Were the brake lines in the way to or are yours not there in the way. We did the at first then bent ghe brake lines out the way and we still couldnt get it all the way out on the drivers side. So for ten bucks for me they were a few dollars less i said fuck it an chop chop. We did try to put them in the right way first and we couldnt seem to get them so i read somewhere to just pit them in The opposite way. So far so good. Got about 15000 mikes on them with plenty of off road use. I did re torque everything a few times after wheeling and normal driving. So far the only thing that has come a little loose has been the rear leaf spring bolts and rear shock bottom bolt. I lost a rear shock nut the first day i drove it.we most of forgot to torque that one. Lol it was a long day installing.

It helps the wife works there. Her dad was a tech at toyota for yrs until he passed two yrs ago. We did the lift in his old bay using his tools, with one of his friends.it was pretty cool. Talking with all his old buddy's and reminiscing about what a cool father-en-law he was .my truck is a constant reminder of him to me.RIP in memory of Glen Casella
